There seems to be a new and definite need for a new cadre of statesmen, of diplomats and above all supporting other public officials embedded and imbued with an understanding of the modern and constantly up-to-date, accurate  geopolitics of energy and equipped with the skills to navigate the interlocking todays worlds of climate change and energy security, food security, peace and to negotiate in the best interests of our Suriname, our land and our region.
